Master of Home Improvement

Master of Home Improvement

By faith, I believe Jesus as God created Everything. Jesus is the Eternal Architect and Master of Home Improvement. Read along as Scripture unveils the Carpenter of all things Spiritual and Physical in existence. Here are just three verses where scriptures provide irrefutable proof that Jesus is the creator.

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. (Genesis 1:1)

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. (14) And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. (John 1:1-4,14)

Giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light. He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins. He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. (Colossians 1:12-16)

As a creationist I find it hard to understand how atheists and evolutionists can have such great faith without common sense or wisdom.

Is it easier to believe that Nothing created something from Nothing?
“Or”
Is it easier to believe that God created something from Nothing?

The reason I say that atheists and evolutionists have such great faith is because, it takes faith and creative thinking to fabricate such a nonsensical religion. It takes great faith to believe.

[(0+0)≜ Σ]≡∞

Nothing plus Nothing is ≜ equal by definition,Σ sum of all, ≡ identical to, ∞ infinity of all things created.

Common sense should prevail in the wisdom that ‘something’ had to create the world. Nothing still equals a whole lot of Nothing!

Satan’s Perversion

Satan would prefer that you did not believe in Heaven, Hell, or God. Satan would even prefer that you didn’t even believe that he existed.

Satan would have you believe Nothing created or evolved into something from Nothing.

Atheists make Satan’s work easy. Satan certainly does not want you to believe that Jesus created him and therefore Master Architect of the Universe. (Colossians 1:16)

Satan will not help you build a happy, holy, fulfilled, and blessed life. Satan only wants to steal, kill, and destroy. (John 10:10)

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. (1 Peter 5:8)

Just Too Simple

I guess it is just to simple to believe God’s truth!

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good testimony. By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible. (Hebrews 11:1-3)

And I also guess it is just to simple to believe He did it for Himself to be a Habitat for all He created!

For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. (Colossians 1:16)

For thus says the Lord,
Who created the heavens,
Who is God,
Who formed the earth and made it,
Who has established it,
Who did not create it in vain,
Who formed it to be inhabited:
“I am the Lord, and there is no other.
(Isaiah 45:18)

Undoubtedly by now, I have thoroughly established that Jesus created everything. Now realize how much He has created, continues to create, and will create. This proves that Jesus is the Eternal Architect and Master of Home Improvement?

We know Jesus/God created Heaven and Earth for Himself to be inhabited by spiritual and physical beings. (Colossians 1:12-16, Isaiah 45:18) What many fail to realize is that, Jesus continues to remodel, make additions, and build new things for creation and Man.

Jesus is the cornerstone upon which He continues to build His spiritual and physical Church.

And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it. (Matthew 16:18)

Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone, in whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit. (Ephesians 2:19-22)

Multitasking Master

Simultaneously, He is the Architect of Heavenly Mansions. The Developer of a New Heaven and a New Earth. Jesus is constantly making preparations for You as a Believer in His Church.

In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. And where I go you know, and the way you know.” (John 14:2-4)

“For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; And the former shall not be remembered or come to mind. (Isaiah 65:17)

Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea. Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. (Revelation 21:1-2)

Righteous Remodeler

But Wait! Jesus even does remodel jobs on people too! Upon salvation and accepting Jesus as our redeemer we get Remodeled and made New.

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. (2 Corinthians 5:17)

and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness. (Ephesians 4:24)

Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it? Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection, knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin. (Romans 6:2-6)

As remodeled Believers in Jesus we have access to His wisdom and knowledge. Jesus is not only an Architect, Builder, and Master of Home Improvement. He is a Carpenter with real world experience.

Is this not the carpenter, the Son of Mary, and brother of James, Joses, Judas, and Simon? And are not His sisters here with us?” So they were offended at Him. (Mark 6:3)

Redeemers Resume

With such an impressive resume we can trust Jesus when He gives instructions for constructing our own Homes and Lives. The following verses speak to us about getting a plan together. This plan includes finances, location, and attitude to ensure we are successful physical reflection of the spiritual ways of God.

For which of you, intending to build a tower, does not sit down first and count the cost, whether he has enough to finish it — lest, after he has laid the foundation, and is not able to finish, all who see it begin to mock him, saying, ‘This man began to build and was not able to finish’? (Luke 14:28-30)

Prepare your outside work, Make it fit for yourself in the field; And afterward build your house. (Proverbs 24:27)

Unless the Lord builds the house, They labor in vain who build it; Unless the Lord guards the city, The watchman stays awake in vain. (Psalm 127:1)

DIY for the Soul

Jesus even goes so far as to give advise on how to do some much-needed DIY work on our souls. This is where we can make massive improvements in the mind, self-will, and emotions.

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. (Romans 12:2)

And if a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand. (Mark 3:25)

With a renewing of the mind we are able to see, hear, and understand that without faith, common sense and wisdom it is impossible to please God and live a blessed life.

Faith in Jesus as Savior. Common sense to renew your mind and ways of thinking. Wisdom to know God is the Architect of your life. Following Jesus will fill your home and your life with all your heart’s desires; the blessings that God desires to give you as your Father.

Through wisdom a house is built, And by understanding it is established; By knowledge the rooms are filled with all precious and pleasant riches. (Proverbs 24:3-4)

Take Note: This is not a prosperity feel good only teaching. This requires faith, common sense, wisdom, and the hard work involved to renew your mind. It is through this work we show our love and obedience by bearing witness for Jesus Christ.

This is when the real fun Begins that will last Forever!

But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” (1 Corinthians 2:9)
