Free Shipping

Free Shipping

Free Shipping is a marketing ploy designed to make people think they are getting a great deal. In reality the shipping cost is merely built into the product price. Hidden and not Free.

I know some of you are saying, “Duh.” While others are saying, “Really! Tell me it isn’t so.” Still others are saying, “That’s just wrong.”

Most people are not fooled by this obvious ‘shell game’ played with shipping costs. This does allow the keen shopper to know the item’s cost upfront. This can streamline purchases without having to log into a website, enter a shipping address; only to find out that the shipping cost is higher than the item up for sale.

The reality is; the shipping has to be paid before an item can be delivered. It costs time, fuel, and materials. Somebody has to pay the cost!

Satan’s Perversion

Satan has successfully blinded the minds of many (2 Corinthians 4:4). Especially those who think the shipping is really free. Even to the point that consumers are now demanding free shipping. In essence demanding deception.

Satan has pushed his deceptive tactics to the point that it is now mainstream marketing. This ‘shell game’ is played not only with online products. It is now common practice when buying a car, house, or any other item where costs can be hidden or manipulated.

Satan is especially successful in teaching mankind to add a sense of urgency by coining phrases such as; for a limited time, for the first ten buyers, time is running out, or this is a one time offer, etc.

Satan has watered down the truth to the point that it is hard to discern the truth. Thus, born is the phrase, “If it is too good to be true – It probably isn’t.”

The Fact Remains

The fact remains; Somebody has to pay the cost. Sometimes the costs are immense. The common denominator within all of these tactics is that there are costs; sometimes hidden and sometimes carefully calculated.

Caveat Emptor is Latin for: “Let the buyer beware.” This is a well-known phrase most learn from youth. Is is sadly a way in which we are conditioned not to trust.

Nowadays very little business is conducted with a Handshake and Promise. We enter in to contracts with multiple witnesses, sometimes even notarized in court.

Tell Me Something I Don’t Know

The reason I took you along on this rabbit hunt is to bring awareness to just a few mainstream practices that leave humanity cautious and vulnerable.

We have so many Denominations, Religions, and Cultures that are intensely dogmatic in preaching their perceived perspective as truth. All of which are screaming to the top of their lungs to be heard. Worldliness tries to drown out the simple truth.

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. (Romans 12:2)

The short and simple, easy to understand, way of business and life is too mundane to be correct? Worldliness says, “Lie to me PLEASE!”

Is Free Shipping always a Lie? No. Sometimes there really is free shipping. It is rare and more often than not; it is provided to gain customer loyalty and is a cost-effective form of advertisement to gain new customers. Just the same as daily specials or a prize give away.

Do you know what Everyone has and Ships for FREE?

Souls Ship Free

Everyone’s spirit lives forever. The kicker is… Where will your spirit ship; to live forever?

When you die your soul will be shipped to either Paradise or to Hades. There is no second chance, reincarnation, nothingness, or Limbo. This is evidenced in the parable of the Rich man and Lazarus.

So it was that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels to Abraham’s bosom. The rich man also died and was buried. And being in torments in Hades, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. (Luke 16:22-23)

We know prior to Jesus’ victory on the cross, an angel could be the vehicle by which a soul is shipped. Jesus paid the cost to ship your soul to paradise to be with Him forever.

“O Death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory?” The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. (1 Corinthians 15:55-57)

Death Benefits

As Believers we should in fact embrace death of the flesh. If you worry about or fear dying, realize that it is normal to face these realities with trepidation. It is not healthy or normal to dwell on the inevitable.

We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord.(2 Corinthians 5:8) For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain. (Philippians 1:21)

Each day of your life marches headlong toward death. In like turn, Each day of your life as a Believer in Jesus promises the renewal of your soul or spirit man.

Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal. (2 Corinthians 4:16-18)
