Lost Your Cross?
How many times in your life have you heard someone say, “It’s a Cross that I must bear” or “God will never give you more than you can bear”
or something similar in context. These kind of statements made in
reference to oppressions or extreme burdens are yet another one of
Satan’s successful perversions of God’s word. (Matthew 13:19, Revelation 12:9, 2 Thessalonians 2:9-10, John 8:44)
Satan
is well versed and able to pervert the Word just enough to strip away
the true meaning meant to empower and enlighten Christian believers in
strength, knowledge, and wisdom that opens the doors of Miraculous Faith. Yes I said, “Miraculous Faith.”
If
you do not have the correct understanding of what Jesus truly said,
then you can never expect to speak it, live it, or say it with Christ
like authority to release the miraculous powers given to us by God’s Word. Just to name a few verses of our authority in Jesus. (Matthew 10:8, Philippians 4:13, Ephesians 6:10-18)
Let’s take a look at the perversion “It’s a Cross that I must bear.” This is taken from the bible verses (Matt. 16:24-25, Mark 8:34-35, Luke 9:23-24 ). The key words here are; “deny himself.”
Satan has the Church teaching that we must accept the hardships and
tortures that sent Jesus to the Cross as an acceptable pattern of a
Christian’s spiritual growth. This is Not The TRUTH! Jesus accepted His Cross because that was His destiny to die for our sins. Jesus said, “deny himself” just like Jesus denied Himself of His “Godly Powers” when He became flesh. (Philippians 2:6-7)
The
Cross He is talking about for Christian’s is to deny ourselves of
earthly, selfish, arrogant, fleshly, harmful, and sinful behaviors that
renders our power in Jesus impotent of the faith for the miraculous.
If we take up the real Cross of humility and Christlike behavior we are
learning, growing, and empowering ourselves through Jesus. We then
“walk the walk” and “talk the talk” that opens the doors of Heaven’s
Blessings.
Now; let’s take a look at another Satanic perversion, “God will never give you more than you can bear.” This is a perversion of the scripture (1 Corinthians 10:13) where the focus is on the words “able to bear it.” The true key words here are; “make the way of escape.”
Escape
from what? The attacks of Satan and his perversions and lies. Scripture
is not saying that we are going to take up a cross and be weighed down
by all the disease, sicknesses, burdens, oppressions, attacks, trials,
and tribulations that Satan can throw at us.
The real truth in teaching is that Jesus took up His cross which paved the way to “make the way of escape.” He did not contradict Himself or Lie when He said, “My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” (Matthew 11:28-30)
What
Jesus is really trying to teach us is that we must set aside those
things that are robbing us of our power and authority in Him. This is
how we tap into the right mindset of faith and humility required to
accomplish great things in life.
(John 8:32) “And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
