Without Hindrance
It is the superstars and supermodels that are uncommon or abnormal. The world’s media and ‘BIG Money’ have unfairly idolized these individuals and set them upon pedestals built out of greed. Satan has set-up a fraudulent world value system, veiling the truth from actual reality.
Satan’s Perversion
The truth is… there are just as many so-called common people who are just as pretty, just as talented, or just as intelligent who do not conform to Satan’s world and go unnoticed and unrecognized.
Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. (1 John 2:15)
And
do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing
of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and
perfect will of God. (Romans 12:2)
Perfectly Flawed
Then
Moses said to the Lord, “O my Lord, I am not eloquent, neither before
nor since You have spoken to Your servant; but I am slow of speech and
slow of tongue.” So the Lord said to him, “Who has made man’s mouth? Or
who makes the mute, the deaf, the seeing, or the blind? Have not I, the
Lord? (Exodus 4:10-11)
Perfected Image
This was not enough!
God can obviously make anything He wishes in any manner He chooses. God did his very best when he made YOU!
God did not make a mistake by creating you in His image. Think of it like this. God would not misrepresent Himself or choose to cast a shadow on His countenance by creating you in His own image if you were flawed. You were made perfect. You are the living breathing mortal image of perfection.
So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. (Genesis 1:27)
For
I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of
peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. (Jeremiah 29:11)
Just for You
As a human you have authority over all the plants and trees especially those that yield seeds. The whole earth was made for you to nurture and command. You are feed clothed and housed by all that God created for your pleasure and needs.
The next time your eye casts a gaze upon a beautiful giant sequoia, redwood, oak, or ancient olive tree. Know that God caused that seed to grow long ago so that it would be pleasing to your eye today.
Then
God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let
them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air,
and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing
that creeps on the earth.” So God created man in His own image; in the
image of God He created him; male and female He created them. Then God
blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the
earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the
birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”
And God said, “See, I have given you every herb that yields seed which
is on the face of all the earth, and every tree whose fruit yields seed;
to you it shall be for food. Also, to every beast of the earth, to
every bird of the air, and to everything that creeps on the earth, in
which there is life, I have given every green herb for food”; and it was
so. Then God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very
good. So the evening and the morning were the sixth day. (Genesis 1:26-31)
And
out of the ground the Lord God made every tree grow that is pleasant to
the sight and good for food. The tree of life was also in the midst of
the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. (Genesis 2:9)
A New Outlook
And
do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing
of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and
perfect will of God. (Romans 12:2)
Just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love. (Ephesians 1:4)
For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb. I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well. (Psalm 139:13-14)
Your Above Average Purpose
Your unique
For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. (Ephesians 2:10)
Now
as Jesus passed by, He saw a man who was blind from birth. And His
disciples asked Him, saying, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his
parents, that he was born blind?” Jesus answered, “Neither this man nor
his parents sinned, but that the works of God should be revealed in him. (John 9:1-3)
What’s Your Hindrance
Gideon was another man in scripture who suffered a misguided, fraudulent mental hindrance. Don’t listen to Satan or the condemning opinions and situations in a heathen world. Learn to see yourself as God sees you.
Gideon saw himself as nothing a ‘nobody.’ God saw him as a mighty man of valor and the deliverance of Israel.
And
the Angel of the Lord appeared to him, and said to him, “The Lord is
with you, you mighty man of valor!” Gideon said to Him, “O my lord, if
the Lord is with us, why then has all this happened to us? And where are
all His miracles which our fathers told us about, saying, ‘Did not the
Lord bring us up from Egypt?’ But now the Lord has forsaken us and
delivered us into the hands of the Midianites.” Then the Lord turned to
him and said, “Go in this might of yours, and you shall save Israel from
the hand of the Midianites. Have I not sent you?” So he said to Him, “O
my Lord, how can I save Israel? Indeed my clan is the weakest in
Manasseh, and I am the least in my father’s house.” And the Lord said to
him, “Surely I will be with you, and you shall defeat the Midianites as
one man.” (Judges 6:12-16)
Let us not forget the Apostle Paul’s disabilities.
Paul had what he called a thorn in his flesh as a messenger of Satan to
buffet him. Paul realized that this was a reminder to help him stay
humble.
This didn’t stop him from praying and bellyaching to the Lord just like Moses and Gideon. And in like turn, God answered his prayers by revealing to him that this thorn in his flesh served a divine purpose.
Paul’s disability was not a hindrance; it was his strength.
And
lest I should be exalted above measure by the abundance of the
revelations, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan
to buffet me, lest I be exalted above measure. Concerning this thing I
pleaded with the Lord three times that it might depart from me. And He
said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made
perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my
infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take
pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in
distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong. (2 Corinthians 12:7-10)
God sees the real you. The perfection of His love. He even keeps tally of every single hair on your head. My own personal mortal comprehension of love says, “Unless your bald, I’m not even going to try.”
“Are
not five sparrows sold for two copper coins? And not one of them is
forgotten before God. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.
Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows. (Luke 12:6-7)
For
the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak,
and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will
surely come, It will not tarry. (Habakkuk 2:3)
