10 Martyrs a Day!

Modern Martyr pic10 Martyrs a Day!

The First Amendment, amendment (1791) to the Constitution of the United States is a part of the Bill of Rights.

The First Amendment reads:

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

In the United States we are privileged to enjoy this freedom of speech and religion. Yet, despite this freedom, most Christians do not exercise this exceptional right.

However; Some are willing to Die!

Christian persecution is defined as: Any hostility experienced from the world as a result of one’s identification and belief in Jesus Christ.

Some of these hostilities include; but are not limited to, beatings, physical torture, confinement, isolation, rape, severe punishment, imprisonment, slavery, discrimination in education and employment, and even Death. These are just a few examples of the types of persecutions our Christian Family experiences on a daily basis.

According to The Pew Research Center, over 75% of the world’s population lives in areas with severe religious restrictions.

According to the United States Department of State, Christians in more than 60 countries face persecution from their governments or surrounding neighbors simply because of their belief in Jesus Christ.

Open Doors USA is a non-profit organization focused on serving persecuted Christians in more than 60 countries.

Open Doors states that 2014 has seen more global persecution of Christians than any other year in recent history.

From the kidnapped schools girls in Nigeria, to Meriam Ibrahim being sentenced to death in Sudan, to the ISIS crisis, Christians throughout the entire world have seen a major increase in persecution.

Modern Martyrs

Open Doors reports that more than 100 million Christians are persecuted for their faith worldwide. Each month 322 are slaughtered for their faith, 214 Churches and Christian properties are destroyed, and 772 forms of violence are committed against Christians all in just one month.

That is over 10 family members martyred each day.

The World Watch List ranks the top 50 countries where Christians face the greatest persecution. Here is their list:

These 14 countries have extreme persecution policies including death. North Korea, Somalia, Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia, Maldives, Pakistan, Iran, Yemen, Sudan, Eritrea, Libya, and Nigeria.

These 13 countries have severe persecution polices in place. Uzbekistan, Central African Rep., Ethiopia, Vietnam, Qatar, Turkmenistan, Laos, Egypt, Myanmar (Burma), Brunei, Colombia, Jordan, and Oman.

The following 23 countries have moderate to sparse persecution policies. India, Sri Lanka, Tunisia, Bhutan, Algeria, Mali, Palestinian Territories, United Arab Emirates, Mauritania, China, Kuwait, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Bahrain, Comoros, Kenya, Morocco, Tajikistan, Djibouti, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Tanzania, and Niger.

You tell me!

Why do these organizations have to beg their Christian Family for donations?

Why doesn’t every Church in the United States make these organizations and statistics well known?

Why don’t more Believers care about their own Family Members?

And if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; or if one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it. (1 Corinthians 12:26)

Why are there those that live in a country where freedom of religion is a constitutional right remain silent and allow Satan to deceive family, friends, and neighbors?

Why would any Believer sit in silence while Satan attacks loved ones and the people around them?

Why must there be 10 Martyrs Today?

Any Christian with freedom of speech and religion who sits there all tight-lipped; like a bump on a log, when they have a moral and spiritual obligation to at least open their mouth. Should show a little compassion for another sinner or Saint who needs protection from Satan. Show others the Salvation Love that Jesus was crucified for. Any who sit in silence should be ashamed of themselves not the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. (Romans 1:16)

Satan’s Perversion

Satan has convinced the majority of Believers in the USA that it is somehow not their problem. Satan would have you turn a blind eye to the ‘GLOBAL PERSECUTION’ he is inflicting on the Church Body.

Satan ‘here at home’ has muted Believers from witnessing. The immoral, wretched, and deceitfully wicked among us shouts for acceptance at the expense of all that is Righteous and Holy.

American Christians have allowed the secular world to castrate the core doctrine of our faith and all the Jesus Christ was crucified for.

Satan has successfully turned Christians into a World Minority and more importantly – Our own United States in ? we trust?

Sitting in silence while letting someone fall into the Satan’s Snare. Mute while loved ones die without Jesus, knowing their heading straight to Hell. Reticent to share the salvation love of Jesus to others, is like handing a child a loaded gun and telling them its just a toy.

“Just open your mouth and let the Holy Spirit come out.”

Speak up when you feel that deep unction to say something. Don’t worry about what you are supposed to say. Just open your mouth and let the Holy Spirit come out.

But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you. (John 14:26)

Many times Believers feel an urge to do or say something, only to have missed an opportunity by just sitting in silence. Many times believers know that God has put a work on their heart but instead choose to quench the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Do not quench the Spirit. (1 Thessalonians 5:19)

This year let go of your own thoughts, let go and let God do His work. God is a God of the spoken word. So much so, that the Word became flesh to speak the will, purpose, salvation, and covenants of God the Father. (John 1:14)

The Word of God spoke everything into existence and made man in His image to do the same. (John 1:1-4)

Do not rob the Church Body of a word, warning, or blessing by remaining in your silence.

Open your mouth and let the Holy Spirit come out.”

So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it. (Isaiah 55:11).

There is Power in Your Words

Jesus taught us with words (speech) creates the actions of our faith that in turn resonates unto all the spiritual powers. It is by speaking the Word of God out loud, that great and mighty spiritual powers are unleashed to do God’s will.

Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. (Genesis 1:3).
Jesus raised the dead with the spoken word, “Now when He had said these things, He cried with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come forth!” (John 11:43).

Jesus showed the disciples ‘and us’ the power of words when He arose, and rebuked the winds and sea, nature immediately fell into obedience and became perfectly calm, “But He said to them, “Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?” Then He arose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm. (Matthew 8:26).

Jesus taught us to heal the sick and cast out demons with the spoken word, “And as he was still coming, the demon threw him down and convulsed him. Then Jesus rebuked the unclean spirit, healed the child, and gave him back to his father. (Luke 9:42)

Jesus taught us to speak the spiritual dynamics which affect earthly results showing the power and glory of God. Jesus gave this power to all Believers who ask in His name.

Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it. (John 14:12-14)

When I say, “Open your mouth and let the Holy Spirit come out” I am not being amusing in any way. Jesus gave us the Holy Spirit a helper to teach, guide, and empower the Church. I could just as well say, “Let all the power of the Godhead speak through you.”

If you love Me, keep My commandments. And I will pray to the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever — the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you. “A little while longer and the world will see Me no more, but you will see Me. Because I live, you will live also. At that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you. (John 14:15-20)

The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit dwells within all who are truly saved. As disciples of Jesus it is our duty to help spread His love and message of Salvation, the Gospel, the Good News, to the whole World. Jesus gave us this gift to bear witness to others. Jesus said, “Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.” (John 20:21)

In other countries these Modern Martyrs are our Brothers and Sisters that are being slaughtered for the cause TODAY! Here in America the least you can do is: “Open your mouth and let the Holy Spirit come out.”

There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. (1 John 4:18)

Commissioned

Do not kid yourself about your own salvation. If the whole purpose of your existence was finished once you got saved, then why didn’t the Lord just whisk you Home to Heaven the instance you were saved?

It is because once we’re saved, we now have purpose, our real job to do! We have been commissioned with the responsibility to spread the message to others. Jesus said, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.” (Mark 16:15)

Something to think on…Charles Spurgeon once said, “Have you no wish for others to be saved? Then you are not saved yourself. Be sure of that.”

Jesus alone saves, but He doesn’t want to save you alone.
