Give us Santa Barabbas
The secular world is screaming, “Give us Santa. Crucify Jesus the Myth.” Unbelievers are still trying to put an end to the ministry of Jesus.

Now
at the feast he was accustomed to releasing one prisoner to them,
whomever they requested. And there was one named Barabbas, who was
chained with his fellow rebels; they had committed murder in the
rebellion. Then the multitude, crying aloud, began to ask him to do just
as he had always done for them. But Pilate answered them, saying, “Do
you want me to release to you the King of the Jews?” For he knew that
the chief priests had handed Him over because of envy.
But
the chief priests stirred up the crowd, so that he should rather
release Barabbas to them. Pilate answered and said to them again, “What
then do you want me to do with Him whom you call the King of the Jews?”
So they cried out again, “Crucify Him!”
Then Pilate said to them, “Why, what evil has He done?”
But they cried out all the more, “Crucify Him!”
So
Pilate, wanting to gratify the crowd, released Barabbas to them; and he
delivered Jesus, after he had scourged Him, to be crucified.(Mark 15:6-15)

Satan’s Perversion
Satan is still trying to crucify the ministry of Jesus. Satan has the secular world convinced that it is an insult to say Merry Christmas.
Satan has convinced the secular world that there is no such thing as Jesus the Christ; and that even if it were so, it is still a hate crime to portray a Jew in such a bloody manor.
Satan has convinced the secular world that Santa Clause is much more believable, and that they should chose Santa as a modern day ‘Barabbas’ over Jesus the Christ.
Satan has convinced the media of the secular world, that they like Pilot should offer up Jesus in the place of Santa Barabbas to be crucified.
Satan has been so successful, that he has even convinced some Christian Believers to ‘throw the baby out with the bath water’ because December 25th is not Jesus’ real birthday.
Persevere
I say Merry CHRISTmas! Happy Birthday Jesus! Me and my house will serve the Lord! (Joshua 24:15)
We Believers must persevere. We must continue to use this time of year to regain the ministry years and ground that Satan the Locust has stolen from our Savior. (Joel 2:25-27)
Does it really matter what day of the year Jesus was born?
Is it not better that the whole world comes together, to celebrate the season knowing that it is truly about Jesus and not Santa?
To those legalistic Believers who would wish to quench the work of the Holy Spirit, insisting that Christmas is not Jesus’ real birthday – I say, “So What!”
It’s great! That the Church family comes together much in the same way earthly families have reunions. Believers across the globe come together in a united front to face the evil which denies our Christ.
Persevere to Preach CHRISTmas! Persevere to tell the story of baby Jesus born in a manger. Persevere to tell our children that Santa is like the wise men who brought gifts to Immanuel.

it came to pass in those days that a decree went out from Caesar
Augustus that all the world should be registered. This census first took
place while Quirinius was governing Syria. So all went to be
registered, everyone to his own city.
Joseph
also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judea, to
the city of David, which is called Bethlehem, because he was of the
house and lineage of David, to be registered with Mary, his betrothed
wife, who was with child. So it was, that while they were there, the
days were completed for her to be delivered. And she brought forth her
firstborn Son, and wrapped Him in swaddling cloths, and laid Him in a
manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.
Now
there were in the same country shepherds living out in the fields,
keeping watch over their flock by night. And behold, an angel of the
Lord stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and
they were greatly afraid. Then the angel said to them, “Do not be
afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be
to all people. For there is born to you this day in the city of David a
Savior, who is Christ the Lord. And this will be the sign to you: You
will find a Babe wrapped in swaddling cloths, lying in a manger.”
And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying:
“Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!”
So
it was, when the angels had gone away from them into heaven, that the
shepherds said to one another, “Let us now go to Bethlehem and see this
thing that has come to pass, which the Lord has made known to us.” And
they came with haste and found Mary and Joseph, and the Babe lying in a
manger. Now when they had seen Him, they made widely known the saying
which was told them concerning this Child. And all those who heard it
marveled at those things which were told them by the shepherds. But Mary
kept all these things and pondered them in her heart. Then the
shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that
they had heard and seen, as it was told them. (Luke 2:1-20)

Let each side Shout!
Jesus’ death is much like His Birthday in that the secular world is screaming, “Happy ‘Holidays,’ give us ‘Santa,’ and put an end to the Christ.”
This is our time of the year to come together in reunion of our faith and love for Jesus the Christ. A reunion of Joy to pray for Peace on Earth and show our Goodwill toward all men.
Let the secular world shout – Let Believers shout – Let the whole world Scream! At the very least; the Battle Cry remains True.
