Same Song Different Verse
The
End is trending bigger than ever within our Churches today. Everyone
seems to be caught up in the whole end times of bible prophecy. The
trouble with too much focus on the End is that; the central core focus
of the bible, is left waning leaving it devoid of its fundamental
teachings.
Fine!
I get it, and I agreed; the human race is running out of time. Yes, I
can safely say that we are living in the end times. And yes, that is the
Same Song Different Verse that the prophets, Jesus, and the
disciples were singing too! (Matthew 24:44), (2 Peter 3:3-4), (Matthew
24:42), (Matthew 24:14), (2 Timothy 3:1-5), I could go on and on, et
cetera et cetera.
Row! Man, Row!
My
point is... just because we are all in the same boat doesn't mean, we
don't have to man the oars and hoist the sails! We all still have our appointed work to do. (Ephesians 2:10) For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. (Acts 17:26-27) And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their preappointed times
and the boundaries of their dwellings, so that they should seek the
Lord, in the hope that they might grope for Him and find Him, though He
is not far from each one of us;
We
not only take care of our fellow crew-members, we also have to raise up
a new generation of young sailors to sail the seas of the gospel world;
singing the Same Song Different Verse for all those who have not yet heard the Good News of Jesus 'the Christ's' Plan of Salvation!!!! (2 Timothy 3:14-15) But
you must continue in the things which you have learned and been assured
of, knowing from whom you have learned them, and that from childhood
you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for
salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
We must keep telling the same old stories and singing the same old songs of salvation with the Hope that is in Jesus, until Jesus does come.......Period!!
Sing a New Song?
Let me explain. What do I mean by singing the Same Song Different Verse? In scripture (Psalm 96:1) the bible says, “Oh, sing to the Lord a new song! Sing to the Lord, all the earth.” This
verse is often misunderstood. This isn't talking about finding new or
hidden nuggets of wisdom from the bible; or most literally just singing
new praises to the Lord.
This new song is a referencing the New-testament Gospel of Jesus the Christ. A new pathway to heaven with new favors through faith.
A New-Testament song, a song of praise for the new covenant and the precious privileges of that covenant. A new song is the same song of salvation that is forever new news
to sinners. This Good News gospel of Jesus as Savior shall never wax
old nor vanish away; it is an everlasting song, that shall never be
antiquated or out of date.
A New-Testament song of Salvation through Jesus whose compassion's are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23). We need to teach the Same Song of Jesus with a Different Verse which is for the different generations of mankind, who still need to hear the New-Testament of Jesus. “NEW SOULS SING NEW SONGS”
The
problem with too many cooks in the kitchen of the end time meal is
that; the children are going hungry and starving. This is due to the
malnourished teachings of Jesus' love. The younger generations need a
healthy portion of the Same Song Different Verse of the Bible.
Kids these days.
Have
you ever heard an older person say, “What is wrong with this younger
generation. Kids these days just have no morals or respect anymore.” It
is our own fault for not feeding them the bread of life which is the
word of God through the finished work of Jesus. (Matthew 4:4) But
He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread
alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’” (John 6:35) And
Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall
never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst. (John 19:30) So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit.
Satan's
twisted, negligent, and perverse use of the Christian believer's own
zealous, and sometimes almost lustful wanting need of Jesus' return has
left our children without parents to teach them the fullness of hope,
love, and a future with Jesus; right now when they need it the most.......Period!!
Evangelize!
I pray just like everyone else for Jesus' soon return and the rapture of us all, however; There are young souls that need saving with lives that need a future full of hope in a wretched sinful world....!!! (Psalms 96:3) “Declare His glory among the nations, His wonders among all peoples.”
The
core focus and fundamental teachings of the bible can be summed up in
just a few following verses. Then and only then can or will Jesus
Come....Period!!
(Mark 16:15)“And He said to them, ‘Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.’”
(Matthew 28:19-20) “Go
therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the
name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them
to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you
always, even to the end of the age.”
(Matthew 24:14) “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.”
Christians
need to be mindful of Satan's attempts to shift the focus away from the
bible's purpose, and on the end of the world. Leaving a starving
generation.
If you want to do your part and Help Jesus to return sooner than later. Share this prayer with everyone you meet.
“Dear
Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I
believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I trust and believe
that You are my Lord, God, and Savior. Guide my life and teach me to do
Your will. In Your name ‘Jesus’ I pray, Amen.”
